En los paisajes boscosos del hotel al aire libre Rives d'Arc, a dos pasos del río Ardèche, Les Jardins de l'Ibie le invitan a descubrir un parque natural.
The Jardins de l'Ibie project, located in the heart of the Rives d'Arc hotel, extends over 5 hectares of agricultural fallow land at the confluence of the Ardèche and Ibie rivers.
- Touch the bark of the trees,
- Smell the scent of the flowers,
- Listen to the birds singing and the sound of flowing water.
Eager to experiment with an innovative model of agritourism, the project combines fruit trees, cereal cultivation, viticulture and horticulture in an educational space for discovery and awareness of agro-ecology and the local agronomic heritage. It seeks to create links between a sustainable production and supply policy, the involvement of local actors and the activation of a circular economy, the improvement of resilience to climate change and the development of a high quality wellness tourism landscape.
A recognised and encouraged project
Proud that the project has been awarded a prize in the ‘Sustainable transformation of the tourism economy’ (Transformation durable de l'économie touristique) scheme launched by Atout France; a reward that will allow us to benefit from engineering support and co-financing of studies, in order to accelerate the implementation of our project throughout the year 2023.
Collection Rivages is committed to protecting its environment.
In collaboration with our partner Biotope, we have carried out a diagnosis of the fauna and flora of our establishments in Le Phare and Rives d'Arc. The objective? To identify endangered species in the areas where we are located in order to implement a policy to protect local biodiversity, and this, in the long term, in each of our establishments. By preserving the habitat and living conditions of the dune grass, the dune grasshopper, the rock lizard or the European greenfinch, we are working today to safeguard living beings and to make you experience holidays in an extraordinary natural environment.
