More than a mere mountain
Known for its two peaks half a kilometre apart, located in two different departments (Ardèche and Haute-Loire), Mount Mézenc climbs to an altitude of 1,753 m. This site, formed 7 million years ago, has remarkable biodiversity, for which it has been protected as a natural area of ecological interest.
